History

Sunnyside Day Care was founded in 2002 to serve the needs of your child. Sunnyside’s goal of service with an educational focus is provided in a large home on High Park Blvd.  Shortly after opening the centre quickly established itself as the "Best Day Care in the Toronto Bloor West /High Park area" in 2003, 2004 and 2005, as determined by the Toronto Community News.

Since inception we have supported children between six months and six years of age.  Our reputation has grown over the years, just like our centre that offers infant, toddler, preschool and enriched French and English kindergarten classes, not to mention the nursery program. During the summer of 2011 we refreshed our physical space with a renovation and added a nursery school, enriched our English and French kindergarten programs and continued our JK and SK school escort service.

We are proud members of the High Park and Roncesvalles communities and will do our best to serve the needs of your family. We encourage you to get on the waiting list as soon as possible because we want to support your family. Please note that an accepted offer for educational child care at Sunnyside Day Care provides existing and future children priority acceptance – a common practise amongst daycare centres.

Location and Hours of Operation:

Sunnyside Daycare is located at 10 High Park Boulevard, 2 blocks east of High Park and one block west of Roncesvalles Avenue.

Hours of operation are from 7.45am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday.

Please contact the supervisor about our infant, toddler, preschool, enriched English and French kindergarten, nursery school and summer camp program fees. Thank you.
